The car is fixed...thankfully a transmission service did the job! (It is running great and the mechanic gave us an 80% chance of making it just fine to CA)
The house is cleaned...spent the last few days getting it all done!
And we will hit the road tomorrow morning for our first stop of many...Nebraska!
