Today Logan is two months old. Wow it has gone by fast. We are really starting to notice him changing in the past week. He is finally awake for a bit longer and he is a lot more alert and focused. He is smiling a lot now and got a lot of attention on our weekend trip to Wisconsin.
You may be wondering why we took a weekend trip to Wisconsin considering it is about 11 hours away from here?? Well unfortunately our car needed to pass an emissions test there and this was the only weekend we could do it. We had Monday off from school because it was Canadian Thanksgiving.
We left right after classes on Friday and got to Wisconsin at 12:30 a.m. It was a long drive, but it went well and the boys were very good. We spent the weekend at our dear friends the Williams' house. They were gracious to host us for two nights! We had a great time there just enjoying their company. Rylan and Carsten had a great time playing with old friends. On Sunday we visited our group there and had lunch afterward. Then we got back in the car and headed to Michigan. We spent one night in a hotel and did some shopping on Monday and then ended up back home at 8 p.m. Wow a whirlwind to say the least, but overall it was fun!
