With my overwhelming tiredness and the continued busyness of life, this blog has been lacking lately. We are a few weeks into our new semester and things are going well so far. We start a class on team work this week and I know that will be a good class for us to take!
The boys are doing well. They were both sick this past week, but are over that now. Carsten is cutting one of his molars and has been having a very rough go of it. Nearly every night he is awake crying for at least an hour. Nothing we do seems to help. We have even tried Tylenol which is a last resort for us. The poor kid is the worst teether ever! And it seems to take him months to finally get one tooth. The kid will be 30 before they all come in!!
Rylan and Carsten have been playing more and more together. As Carsten grows and learns more things he seems to become more appealing to Rylan as a playmate. Recently Rylan told us that his best friend was Carsten and ,"not the big Carsten, but the wittle Carsten." (There is another Carsten on campus who is 5 and in Rylan's preschool class a few days a week). It is really fun to watch them play.
Carsten is trying to talk more and more. He will repeat the same syllable as the word we are telling him to say. For example: Balloon = ba, ba or Night, Night = ni, ni. It will be fun to see him say more. He saw a picture of Jeff on the computer today and went right to it, touching his face and saying, "dada, dada." It was really cute!
