Rylan has been doing very well so far this week in childcare. It is so good to come home from class to hear that your son has been well behaved. Plus he is so proud of himself and it is fun to praise him and rejoice with him!
Yesterday I made him a card for Valentine's Day. He was so excited about this card. It is in the shape of a heart and I put several stickers on it of his favorite characters. He has said to me numerous times yesterday and today, "You made this for me mommy?" And after I tell him yes he says, "Thank you mommy!"
Tonight when we put him to bed he wrapped his arms around my neck and said, "I have a spot right here for you mommy. Snuggle me mommy." I told him that I needed to go downstairs and he said, "Do you have to do the dishes?" I told him no, but that I was going to spend time with daddy because I miss him and I love him. Rylan says, "I miss you mommy and I wuv you too." We then sang a song together and I left him in bed.
I love these sweet moments with my son! Now if only a simple homemade card can keep him satisfied for years to come... :)
